Raymond and Tina Odle

Ray and Tina have a  background in competitive marksmanship - both rifle and pistol.

Ray focused more on pistol while Tina focused more on rifle, but both are proficient in each discipline.  

Ray and Tina began teaching in 1995.  As NRA Instructors, they began teaching Basic Pistol and other courses.

They have been Level 3 Olympic Coaches since 2000.  As competitors, they learned the value of a good coach.

When introduced to 3-position rifle, it wasn’t long before they were trained as Rifle coaches and soon followed with pistol.  They are now Level - 3 Coaches with USA Shooting.

River Valley SharpShooters was organized in 1996 and started in Manteno IL.  It grew and met in Chebanse for a number of years and then Clifton for one year.  Finally, Ray built an indoor range and the OCC Firearm Training Center became the home of the River Valley SharpShooters.

With years of experience competing at the National level and coaching at all levels, Ray and Tina now focus on teaching young people Olympic style marksmanship, from beginners to advanced competitiors.

The RVS Range is equipped with 2 SIUS electronic targets on the air gun range and can be used with the SCATT trainer and one SIUS on the 50ft small bore range for advanced training.
